The Jackson Rancheria Employee Community Grant Fund is excited to support Amador County nonprofits working to help keep our pets safe and prepared during disasters.
Amador County nonprofits are invited to apply for funding for programs and services that strengthen animal disaster preparedness, emergency response, and evacuation efforts.
Focus Areas May Include:
  • Emergency animal evacuation supplies
  • Temporary animal shelter equipment
  • Animal evacuation crates
  • Pet evacuation planning
  • Animal identification and microchipping campaigns
These grants are designed to help our community become better prepared to protect animals before, during, and after a disaster.

2025 Open Grant Cycle

The 2025 Open Grant Cycle through the Jackson Rancheria Employee Community Grant Fund was a big success! $32,000 was granted!

Nonprofit groups and K-12 schools in Amador County were encouraged to focus on a special project that could make a difference in our community. These grants are made possible by the generosity of the community grant fund established by the Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort Employees. The application period was June 2nd through July 25th, 2026. Keep an eye out for the 2026 Open Grant Cycle, which will be announced around the same time in 2026.

Simply put, the Amador Community Foundation improves the quality of life for the citizens of Amador County today and for generations to come. We invest in donor gifts and use the investment earnings to support local nonprofit organizations. We connect local generosity with local needs.
