Charitable Giving Through Grants

The Foundation’s governing board has a pool of discretionary funds, and regularly awards grants to qualified nonprofit and public agencies. These grants are competitive and awarded for worthy projects that help improve the quality of life in Amador County, whether for Agriculture, Community Development, Disaster & Recovery, Education, Health & Wellness, Arts, Culture, Environment, Animal Welfare, Historical Preservation, Veterans Services, Native Philanthropy and Scholarships. We also will ensure that grants from your fund are distributed efficiently.

Our finance committee oversees the conservative investment of assets entrusted to us by working with professional money managers who have over two decades of experience.
