Laura Spinetta Arts Scholarship Fund

Providing scholarships to students who have been involved in drama and the arts throughout high school and have maintained a 3.0 GPA.

Criteria #1
Arts Themed Scholarship:
Amador, Argonaut, NorthStar and Independence High Schools students are eligible. If schools consolidate this criteria will be revisited and updated to reflect the local institutions.
To support a self-advocative, community-minded, artistic student that will complete 12 grade with four years of rounded high school “art” courses. Two of the four years being in the performing arts and music area, not including stage craft. One being in a career tech path course such as culinary arts or digital art course. One year in studio art such as ceramics or painting. All grades in these courses must average 3.0. 

Criteria #2
Stage Craft Themed Scholarship:
Amador, Argonaut, NorthStar and Independence High Schools students are eligible. If schools consolidate this criteria will be revisited and updated to reflect the local institutions.
To support a self-advocative, community-minded, artistic student that will complete 12 grade with four years of rounded high school “stage craft” courses. Two of the four years being in stage craft classes. One being in a career tech path course such as culinary arts or digital art course. One year in studio art such as ceramics or painting or metal or ag shop courses. All grades in these courses must average 3.0. Qualifications such as OSHA 10 serve card or food handlers card and other professional certificates will be considered.
