Riding Across America for Hospice Care
Join John Silva on his incredible 4,700-mile solo bicycle journey across the Northern Tier Bicycle Route—from Cape Flattery, WA to West Quoddy Head in Lubec, ME—to raise awareness and support for hospice care. This summer-long adventure honors community members who have received hospice services, dedicating each week’s ride to their memory.
Inspired by the compassionate care his mother received, John is raising funds for Hospice of Amador & Calaveras through the Amador Community Foundation. Hospice provides essential end-of-life services regardless of a patient’s ability to pay, relying on community donations to cover gaps not met by insurance.
