Jim Spinetta and Normita Sandoval-Spinetta Latino Scholarship
This endowed fund provides scholarships to local Amador County students. Students must be Latino, must have a GPA of 3.0 or better, and must take at least 9 units each college semester. All majors and all higher education schooling are acceptable (including trade/vocational/tech/ online/etc.).
Priority is given to; students who are 1st or 2nd generation of their family to live in the USA, students who have two Latino parents, students who are in the ESL Program, students who have financial need, students who are the first in their family to go to college, and students who have Community Involvement or have been employed.
Students receiving this scholarship in high school have the opportunity to apply for a continued scholarship throughout their time in college.
