Elizabeth Haughton Memorial Scholarship Fund On Behalf of Tera Donahoo

Scholarship supporting students who are majoring in education with a preference to students pursuing a career in teaching. Any students who received education from Elizabeth Haughton will also be eligible. Students must have a 3.0 GPA or higher in high school.

Elizabeth Haughton, Founder of the Haughton Learning Center, is a highly recognized educational consultant. She received the Standard Celeration Society’s ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ and ‘Our Teacher Award’. However, her favorite awards are those implicit in the measured growth of her students’ learning success.

Elizabeth has delivered individualized learning programs in a multitude of classroom environments, including regular and special education, in both public and private schools, and one-on-one sessions in her own learning center. In doing so, she has touched the lives of thousands of children and their families. She has also assisted numerous other professionals in starting and running their own schools and learning centers.

Her fluency-based curricular materials, assessment tools, and instructional programs are in use worldwide. Elizabeth has dedicated her career to continuing the pioneering work of her late husband, Eric Haughton, who focused Precision Teachers on the acceleration of learning.
