209 Livestock Boosters

Welcome to 209 Livestock Boosters. Our sole focus is supporting the Amador County Junior Livestock Auction. As two lifelong Amador County residents we are very excited to be a part of helping out the youth that participate in this county tradition. Having grown up here, Kylie and Jayme both participated in the Junior Livestock program and auction, and have gone on to supporting it as adults. Outside of auction support, Kylie has also helped by working in the Junior Livestock Office during the fair for several years. We are big believers in the junior livestock programs and what they do for the youth of our community. With our program we have decided to make our main goal to level out the auction floor during the annual livestock sale, and make sure all exhibitors are getting a fair price for the hard work they’ve put in. The youth livestock programs provide so many opportunities for our local kids and help them develop values that will carry on through out their lives. The Junior Livestock Auction is an opportunity for us all to invest in the future of these young individuals.

Simply put, the Amador Community Foundation improves the quality of life for the citizens of Amador County today and for generations to come. We invest in donor gifts and use the investment earnings to support local nonprofit organizations. We connect local generosity with local needs.
