The Amador Community Foundation Fiscal Sponsorship program provides new, small and limited activity projects in Amador County the opportunity to operate under a nonprofit status. As a partner with the Foundation, project donations may be tax deductible, insurance may be provided, and backoffice support could include acknowledgement letters to donors and complete financial management.

The Fiscal Sponsorship program allows new projects to “test the waters” before pursuing incorporation and IRS nonprofit tax status.

All partners must adhere to Foundation operating guidelines and be willing to work with the Foundation when pursuing grants, fundraisers and other activities regulated by the IRS.

Fee for service varies depending on the level of service required and will be negotiated with the Board upon acceptance.

Please review the Fiscal Sponsorship Application Process before filling out an application.
